Is the Bible Reliable?
There is much more that can be said on the reliability of the Bible. God’s Divine Fingerprint of fulfilled prophecy is on it. We can trust that Jesus is the Savior because he fulfilled the prophecies about the coming Messiah. We can trust God that heaven is real. We don’t need a book about it. We can trust His word. We can trust that our sins are forgiven, because His Word says so.

Is Jesus Really God? - Part 2
Jesus declared to be God, Demons declared Him to be God, Angels declared Him to be God, The Apostles declared Him to be God, and even God the Father declared Him to be God.
Who do you say that Jesus is?
It is a very important question, as we see in John 8, it is not enough to just say that you believe in a man whose name was Jesus. But you must believe in who Jesus says He is. It must be an accurate belief, an accurate definition of who he is or you will die in your sin and face the wrath of God.
The Good News is that all who truly believe in Jesus are truly saved.
We who have been rejoice in Jesus, who he is, and what that means for us today. If today God has revealed to you who Jesus truly is, then by the grace of God through faith in Jesus, repent and believe in Him today for your salvation.

Is Jesus Really God? - Part 1
It is clear that Jesus did claim to be God. There are, therefore, only a few options. Either Jesus was right in His claims to be God, or He was wrong. If He was wrong, He either knew He was wrong or did not know He was wrong. If He knew He was wrong, He was a liar. If He did not know He was wrong, then He was radically deluded. The only other option is that He was right, and therefore He is God. What is your conclusion?

    Is Christianity Too Narrow?
Christians are always pressured to make the narrow gate to heaven broader, and unfortunately many Christians, churches, and even pastors do exactly that, but the Bible itself, God’s Word, tells us that it is very narrow. So is Christianity too narrow? The truth is it is only as narrow as God has made it, not us. It is God who has forged the Gate for heaven, not Christians. Our ever growing anti-Christian culture still cannot make another gate to God nor can they broaden it in the least no matter how hard they try. They are but flesh and bone not God, not our creator! Who is the creation to tell its creator “We deserve more ways than just your one, so we are going to create our own way.” However, we cannot change the narrow way that only God had the power to construct. We are not the engineers of the road of salvation. How can you know if you are on the narrow way? 1 John 5:12-13 “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life."

Why Does God Allow Pain and Suffering?-Part 2
This week Pastor Trey continues the Explore God series with part two of his sermon "Why Does God Allow Pain and Suffering?" Pain and suffering and tribulations of all kinds are part of the norm for this life. We do not live in Eden, we live in a world greatly affected by sin in which sickness, and disease, hardships, tribulations and death will come. When they come into our lives they will be painful, as they were for Paul and Job. We may or may not know the exact reason why they are there, but we can and should trust in God who for reasons beyond us has allowed such things to be.

Why Does God Allow Pain and Suffering?-Part 1
When pain and suffering strike, many believers find themselves completely caught off guard, panic stricken, confused, full of questions, and even begin to have doubts about who they had previously thought about God. Some people’s faith is even proven to not be genuine faith in times of pain and suffering as they prove as much by rejecting God when trouble comes their way. Sadly, some have fallen victim to the false belief that because they are a Christian, they are not to experience any pain or suffering, so when they do they then believe that they were sold something that was proven not to be true. Others believe the false doctrine of “Name it, Claim it,” “Gab it Grab it,” or “Speak it Receive it.” or Divine health and wealth, otherwise known as the “Prosperity Gospel.”   So when things don’t go right, they are told it is because of their lack of faith.   Is this the reason bad things happen, because a lack of faith? Now, I am assuming that most of us have not come from that background, but that way of thinking has sadly crept into the minds of a lot of believers. This can cause a radical since of uncalled for guilt when something goes wrong which leaves people stunted in their Spiritual growth. It can also cause people to feel completely side swiped, shocked to the core that something can go wrong in their life as a Christian.
What should our view on pain and suffering in this life be? Hopefully this message will provide some answers to questions that you may have, and better equip you for when pain and suffering do come into your life.

    Series: Explore God
Explore God: Is There a God?
If there is no God then why is there something rather than nothing? The fact that anything in creation exists points back to an eternal creator that is supremely powerful and intelligent. An atheist might say that that if you can have an eternal God then they can have and eternal universe. In fact, there are only two possible beliefs on ultimate origins: Either the universe is eternal or something outside the universe is eternal. Either the universe has always existed and is therefore uncaused, or it had a beginning and was caused by something else. However, not only philosophically but also scientifically the evidence is clear that the universe had a beginning.
Yes, there is a God, and He is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, holy, righteous, just, and never changing. I know there is a God, you know there is a God, and everyone knows that there is a God. There is no denying it. Just look around and let the creation speak. What does this mean to us? God has given us not only his creation, but words from him to us. The Bible reveals not only is there a God, but it is to this God that every human must give account of their lives.

What is your purpose in life? Is there a purpose in life? Is there a point to all of this? All the hustle and bustle for what?Everyone wants meaning and purpose, but unfortunately many look to this world and what this world can offer for that meaning. And no such meaning and purpose can be found. If you look to the creation for your ultimate meaning and purpose then you will never find it. Only the Creator gives His creation meaning.

What is the Gospel? – Part 3
    What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is all about Jesus Christ!
The promised good news has come. We can be saved, rescued, and forgiven by God's one and only Messiah/Christ/Savior Jesus. That is the greatest news ever given to mankind. What does the study of the gospel do for us? This should ground us in understanding that the gospel is an exact message, and no one gets to make up their own. In a world where all types of phrases are used to poorly describe the gospel it is up to us to know it, to defend it, and to speak it correctly. Also, it is a call for us to make sure we do not misrepresent the gospel by shortening it to something that is no longer the Gospel.
    Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes

What is the Gospel? – Part 2
    What is the Gospel?
There is rescue from the wrath and punishment we deserve, but where? It is in the message of the gospel! Who will be saved? Those that go to church? Good people? All people? No, only those who believe in the Gospel will be saved. Christ died for sins in accordance with the Scriptures.

    Ephesians 2:1-3
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Christ, Died, For our Sins, Buried, Raised, Appeared

Paul delivered to the Ephesians the most important message that could ever be delivered. He preached and what did the people do? They believed and were saved by the gospel. A proper study of the Gospel demands the question be asked even of ourselves: Have I believed in this gospel for my salvation? If there is only one God, one Savior, and one Gospel that has the power to rescue from sin, then have you believed in it?

    Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes
