    The Call to Follow Christ

    July 28, 2019

    Primary Text: Matthew 7:13-14

This sermon was brought by Randy Cox.

Jesus’ teaching is clear and exclusive. There is only one way to heaven (the dwelling place of God), and that is through Jesus. As a Christian, have you ever found yourself being scorned for believing that Jesus is the only way to heaven? How could you best respond to such an accusation?

“Without Excuse": Three Witnesses for the Existence of God

    Romans 1:16-25

    March 17, 2019

Apart from the gospel, apart from the person and work of Jesus Christ, mankind remains condemned in their sins and without excuse.

That is where the church comes in: We are the salt of the earth. We are the light of the world. The proclamation of the gospel is the only hope for a society that rejects the God they know exists. Without being reconciled to God through the gospel all they are left with is absurdity. Thank you for listening. The Church at Pecan Creek is located in Denton, Texas. Ephesians 2:1-10

This sermon was brought by Randy Cox. We must constantly grow in our understanding of the gospel, but we will never grow beyond our need for the gospel.

    Four Truths of the Gospel

    1. We are saved from God’s wrath.
    2. We are saved by God’s grace.
    3. We are saved for good works.
    4. We are saved to the praise of God’s glory.
