What does God have to say about homosexuality? (Part 2)
The authority of God’s Word comes from God Himself. Scripture has been breathed out by God and given to us for our benefit, so that we may know how what truth is, that we may know what to believe, what not to believe, how to behave and how not to behave. The Bible is from God, therefore if we desire to know how God views an issue, like homosexuality, then we should look to His Word for the answer.
If we, as Christians, approve of homosexuality, then we are:
- Misrepresenting God like the false prophets.
- Undermining the authority of the Word of God.
- Relabeling unrighteous behavior, righteous behavior.
- Closing the kingdom of heaven to homosexuals by leaving them in their sin.
- Acting without love by withholding the truth about repentance and salvation.

What does God have to say about homosexuality? (Part 1)
More and more we are having to face the issue of homosexuality and we, as Christians, the people that are known to represent God, need to make sure that what we believe regarding the issue of homosexuality rightly lines up with God’s Word, and we need to be better equipped to teach Biblical truth to others. Many Christians are unsure how they are supposed to think about this issue personally, and very confused when it comes to speaking to a homosexual in a loving, caring, and Biblically truthful manner. Everyone has an opinion on homosexuality, but it is our purpose today to put aside emotions, experiences, cultural relativism, and to see what God has to say about homosexuality.
