Are You Loving the World or Are You Loving God?
    Series: (All)
Realize that you have an entirely different reason for living than those living
    for
the world. You should be different than the world. Loving God puts you on an entirely different course in life and that’s ok. The road we are on ends in a great destination.

Examine yourself today, if you find that the desires of the flesh, desires of the eyes, and the pride of life have slipped in, then confess, repent, and return your attention and affection to God.

    Spiritual resurrection is immediate.
The problem with human views of resurrection is mainly that we are so mentally limited that we cannot imagine how we will be or heaven will be.

Trust in the power of God who will remain your God even after your body stops working.

God is good, loving, and patient. He is also holy, righteous, and wrathful.

A whole false religion had rejected His Prophets and even His Son. This false religion was to be destroyed and "the vineyard" given to others. The new Temple would be built upon Christ and the Apostles.

Don’t let buildings or a system ever fool you into thinking that you are in the House of God. The only way to be a part of the true House of God, the true Vineyard, is to make sure that your faith is built upon The Cornerstone, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Can a person lose their salvation?
    Series: (All)
Don’t let feelings determine your beliefs but let your beliefs guide your feelings.

On this issue, God has spoken, and He has been very clear. We should not doubt His Word. To do so is to doubt God Himself.

If Christ is your Savior, then you are safe, you are secured, you are being preserved by God Himself.

Trust your whole salvation to God, and rest in knowing that the one who spoke the universe into being is the very one who guards your soul.

Who comes to mind when you think of success? The rich? Famous? Movie stars? Pro-athletes? Why are they considered successful?

Jesus teaches that success lies in Him and Him alone. No matter how rich a person is on earth, without Christ they will be eternally bankrupt. There is only one way to inherit eternal life: repent of our sin and believe in Jesus Christ.

While there is definitely a point to be made in this passage about children, parents, and disciples. It appears that the overall, most important point of this short passage has to do with entering the “kingdom of God.” Jesus says,
“whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” As important as it is to learn the other lessons that could be taught from this passage, we need to make sure we understand this portion, because entrance to heaven is dependent upon it.
